1. User Authentication, Authorization, and Administration

In this section, you will find information on how to:

  1. Register your company and the users in the following systems for accessing the Stellantis RMI systems TI (Technical Information) Purchase Subscription Tab and Service Library)
    • TI (Technical Information) for company initial registration
    • Mopar Technical Service Portal (MTSP) for purchasing subscriptions and user management
    • Independent Operator Portal (IOP) for Technician access for content to SL
  2. Manage user authorisations.
  3. Log in
  4. Request the deletion of the user name.

1.1 Register IO for use of the Stellantis RMI System

To register an Independent Operator (Company), to access the Stellantis RMI system, you must have a VAT number and operate in the automotive repair sector (directly or indirectly). A Company can be registered only once, but can have multiple locations (physical address) and multiple users per location, managed as indicated in section 1.2. "Register IO Employee for Use of the Stellantis RMI system."

While registering, you need to provide documentation (PDF files) that demonstrates that the business of your company is consistent with the chosen profile and that you are authorized to represent it. You must also provide your consent or refusal to use your data, as specified by current regulations, and indicate the type of activities performed by your company.

The Register IO for use of the Stellantis RMI system function requires the following steps:

  1. For Jeep products register first at the TI (Technical Information) (URL http://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com) website for initial company registration.
  2. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen of the Fiat Technical Information Portal.
  3. Click on Register. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the
  4. Complete the required fields using the On Line Help if necessary, which provides information based on the active page.

1.2 Register IO Employee for Use of the Stellantis RMI System

To register an employee of an Independent Operator (Company) for the Stellantis RMI system, you must have first registered the Company, as indicated in section 1.1. "Register IO for use of the Stellantis RMI system."

During registration, you must also provide your consent or refusal to use your data, as specified by current regulations, and select the type of activities you perform from among those available for your company.

To register IO Employee for Use of the Service Library System function requires the following steps:

  1. Sign into the Fiat Technical Information Portal TI (Technical Information), then navigate to Mopar Technical Service Portal.
  2. Click on Documentation Tab and then select Diagnosis Tools. Some wiTECH functionalities (e.g. SWG access) require approval via Digidentity. Follow the process in TI.
  3. Click on the blue Mopar Technical Service Portal logo at the top right under diagnosis equipment header
  4. Click on the Manage User Tab
  5. Select Add User
  6. Enter Email, First Name, Last Name and click Save
  7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 for additional users.
IO Employees need to register in the IOP system prior to accessing Service Library.
  1. Navigate to the IOP system www.stellantisiop.com
  2. Click Register
  3. Review and acknowledge the legal notice
  4. Enter first and last name
  5. Enter email address
  6. Enter Country and language
  7. Create and confirm password
  8. Submit registration

1.3 Maintain IO Status

This function makes it possible to modify the data of an Independent Operator (Company) if it changes after registration.

Some data can be changed independently, whereas for other information it is necessary to make a request via the mailbox in the Stellantis RMI system.

1.3.1 Data that Can be Changed Independently

The following information about the Legal Representative of the Company can be changed independently:

  1. Physical address
  2. TAX ID/VAT
  3. Payment Methods
  4. Browse Language

The "Maintain IO Status" function requires the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Mopar Technical Service Portal following the steps from 1.2.1 to 1.2.3.
  2. Click on Account (on the left side bar) on the main screen.
  3. Select the tab at the top with information the user wants to modify.
  4. Click Edit or Delete.
  5. Click the Save button.

1.3.2 Data that can be Changed upon Request

It is necessary to request the support of Stellantis to change the following Company data:

  1. Company Name
  2. Phone number
  3. Billing address

Select Support on the left blue bar to find contact information for assistance.

1.4 Maintain User Status

This function makes it possible to modify the data of an Independent Operator (user).
The password to access the Mopar Technical Service Portal expires automatically every 90 days, but it can be changed before it expires.

1.4.1 Data Other than the Password

The following data can be changed independently:

  1. Tax ID/VAX
  2. Address
  3. Payment methods
  4. Browse Language
  5. Alternative Browse Language (French, English, Italian, Spanish or German)

The "Maintain User Status" function requires following the steps outlined in section 1.3.1.

1.4.2 Password

The password to access the Mopar Technical Service Portal expires automatically every 90 days and can be changed before it expires.

To change the password use the following steps:

  1. Navigate to home page of MoparTSP.com (follow the steps outlined in section 1.3.1)
  2. Click on Reset Password (under the login button on the right side bar).
  3. Enter the E-mail.
  4. Click on Confirm
  5. Follow steps listed in the email received.

1.5 Request to Delete the Registration of an IO Employee

To delete the Registration of an IO Employee use the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Mopar Technical Service Portal as outlined in section 1.3.1.
  2. Click on the Manage Users tab.
  3. Locate User.
  4. Click Remove on IO Employee that no longer requires access.

1.6 Login to Stellantis RMI System

The access to Service Library requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO as listed in section 1.1 and 1.2.
  2. Enter the username and the password.
  3. Click on Login.
  4. Select Brand, then the Tab Service Information and then click Launch in the Service Information for Service Library

The access to the Purchase Subscriptions Tab is within TI (Technical Information) and requires the following steps:

  1. Register in TI (Technical Information) as listed in section 1.1 and 1.2.
  2. Enter the username and the password.
  3. Click on Login.
  4. Select Tab Purchase Subscriptions.

1.7 Grant Access to Security-related RMI

The ISO 18541 standard states specific requirements for accessing safety-related information or SERMI (SEcurity RMI).

Keycode database access requests and some wiTECH functions are only accessible after approval by Digidentity. In order to seek approval follow the instructions:

  • In IOP (for Keycodes), select a brand, select the Keycode tab, click Access under the Sermi section, then enter details to access your certificate.
  • In wiTech, follow the instructions on Technical Information (technicalinformation.fiat.com)
2. Payment for RMI

In this section you can purchase subscriptions for accessing the RMI. The methods are different based on the type of RMI to acquire:

  1. Workshop procedures, Wiring Diagrams, Technical Service Bulletins, Labor times, Spare parts, Accessories (TechAuthority Subscription)
  2. Diagnostic services (wiTECH diagnostic tool s/w license) with official Stellantis SW

2.1 Workshop Procedures, Wiring Diagrams, Technical Service Bulletins, Maintenance Schedule, Labour Times, DTC Resolution, Stellantis Symptom Resolution, Spare Parts

There are various portals for Stellantis RMI management, based on the relative brand.

  1. Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth: this portal, which is called Technical Information, at the TI (Technical Information) (URL https://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com)
  2. Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, RAM, SRT: the subscription called TechAuthority, at the Mopar Technical Service Portal (URL row.mopartsp.com)
2.1.1 Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth

Refer to the TI (Technical Information) for this information (URL http://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com). Follow the instructions “Purchase new subscription”. This will enable the access to Service Information content in eLEARN, Parts in ePER and Labor Operation in Tempario.

2.1.2 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT

  1. Login to the Mopar Technical Service Portal (MTSP).
  2. Select the Purchase tab on the blue section on the left of the screen.
  3. Select the tab at the top for either wiTECH 2.0 or Tech Authority Subscriptions
  4. Add to Cart or Buy Now the desired time frame for the subscription the user requires.
  5. Once purchased, the subscription must be assigned to a User.
  6. Select the Dashboard, then click on the blue section on the left of the screen.
  7. Select the subscription type tab at the top that needs to be assigned.
  8. Select the unassigned subscription
  9. Select the User requiring the subscription (if all Users are already assigned to a different subscription, a new User must be created before this can occur. See section 1.2).

2.2 Spare Parts

The Payment for RMI for Spare Parts is covered in general section 2.1 Workshop Procedures, Wiring Diagrams, Technical Service Bulletins, Maintenance Schedule, Labour Times, DTC Resolution, Stellantis Symptom Resolution, Spare Parts

2.3 Integrated Diagnostics with Stellantis Diagnostic Tool SW

The diagnostic services with official Stellantis SW are managed on a separate portal, accessible with Single SignOn, that is without the need for additional registration and login.

Two methods are available, which require the use of different HW and require, as the first step, to register the HW in Stellantis systems, as indicated in section 6.3 "Integrated diagnostics":

  1. With official Stellantis HW, in wiTECH IAM mode
  2. With PassThru HW, in wiTECH J2534 mode

The Payment for RMI function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO in TI (Technical Information). (URL https://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com)
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Click on Diagnostic tools or ECU update (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  8. Click on Technical Service Portal Logo on right side of the screen

2.4 Integrated Diagnostics for Connected Vehicles with Third-party Instruments

In Connected Vehicles, with voluntary and advanced compliance with regulation UNECE-115, the Connected Vehicles have an electronic module called Secure GateWay (SGW), which prevents write access in the vehicle.
The release of the wiring function is only possible using third-party tools that have implemented the Authenticated Diagnostics Access (ADA) function, which are listed in the related News TI (Technical Information).

The Payment for RMI function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Make sure to have one of the diagnostic tools included in the list provided in the News Authenticated diagnostics (dated 14/10/2019). Otherwise it is not possible to unlock the SGW.
  8. Click on Purchase subscription (in the Purchase menu to the top right) on the main screen. This function could be inhibited to an IO employee, based on the authorisations provided by their Legal Representative.
  9. Click on Click to open below Authenticated Diagnostics.
  10. Select the Duration of the subscription as needed.
  11. Click on the cart to the side of the selected subscriptions.
  12. Click on Proceed in the cart that opens automatically.
  13. Make the payment using the provided methods, using if necessary the On Line Help, which provides information based on the active page.

2.5 Preparation for PTI, Recall Information, Special Tools

These types of RMI are available to users of the Stellantis RMI system without the need for any payment.

The access methods to these RMI are provided in the corresponding sections:
5.1.4. "Preparation for PTI."
5.4. "Recall information."
5.10. "Special tools."

3. Vehicle Identification

In this section you can set the filter for your information search:

  1. VIN: search for a single vehicle.
  2. MVS (Model Version Series): search to a group of vehicles with similar specifications. Applicable in TI (Technical Information)
  3. YME (Year Model Engine): applicable in Independent Operator

3.1 Vehicle Identification through Use of the VIN

Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth

Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, SRT

  1. Follow the instructions in 1.6 for accessing Service Library
  2. In Service Library Home Page enter the VIN at the top left corner of the screen.

3.2 Vehicle Identification via Product Features

Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth

  1. Refer to the TI (Technical Information) for this information (URL http://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com). Access and instructions are covered in general section 2.1 Workshop Procedures, Wiring Diagrams, Technical Service Bulletins, Maintenance Schedule, Labour Times, DTC Resolution, Stellantis Symptom Resolution, Spare Parts
  2. Click on Vehicle identification. This function could be inhibited to an IO employee, based on the authorisations provided by their Legal Representative.
  3. Click on Search by MVS.

Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, SRT

  1. Follow the instructions in 1.6 for accessing Service Library
  2. In Service Library Home Page select “Choose a Year” Dropdown, “Choose a Model” and “Choose a Engine”.
  3. Alternatively start by selecting the brand images at the top center screen of SL.

4. Provide Selection Methods for RMI

In this section, you can select among four different RMI search methods:

  1. By information type: filter based on information disciplines: Wiring, Parts, Service Information, Service Action Documentation, Owners Information, Collision Information
  2. By standardized term:
    • IOP:
      • Login IOP (refer to section 1.6 "Login to Stellantis IOP")
      • Select a brand
      • Select “Service Information” Tab
      • Select “Search by Standard Terms”
    • Service Library:
      • Login Service Library (refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis IOP")
      • use the “Search” functionality at the top right corner
  3. By product structure: filter by document structure (ToC Table of Content). Alternatively use “System Explorer”
  4. By document code or Part Number : to search directly for a specific document (document release numbers for Service Action Documentation) use the “Search” functionality at the top right corner or the ToC at the appropriate. Alternatively use “Service Bulletins/Recalls” in the ToC.

4.1 Select Information Type

In this section you can restrict the consultation of the identified RMI to a single type of information, as required.

The Select Information Type function requires the following steps:

  1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal (Refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis RMI”)
  2. Click the brand of the vehicle you want to access
  3. Click on the Service Information tab
  4. Follow the instructions in the brand selection buttons and select the appropriate Service Information Portal based on the product:
    • Fiat: for Freemont select Service Library. For all other products select Technical Information (TI).
    • Lancia: Thema, Flavia and Grand Voyager select Service Library. For all other products select Technical Information Portal.
    • Arbarth and Alfa Romeo follow Technical Information (TI) for all products.
  5. In Service Library, select the vehicle either by entering the VIN, select a Brand/Model/Engine, or selecting a Model Year, Model, and Engine.
  6. Once a vehicle has been selected, a list of information types will be listed on the left side of the screen in the ToC. Click one of the information types to browse available content.

4.2 Search by Standardized Terms

In this section you can use a standard term to limit the RMI search to a single component/system, as needed.

The Search by Standardized Terms function requires the following steps:

  • IOP
    1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal (Refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis RMI”)
    2. IOP:
      1. Login IOP (refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis IOP“)
      2. Select a brand
      3. Select “Service Information” Tab
      4. Select “Launch” below “Search Preview”
  • Service Library:
    1. Login Service Library (refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis IOP“)
    2. use the “Search” functionality at the top right corner

4.3 Navigate using Product Structure

In this section you can browse the documentation structure to search the RMI.
The function can only be accessed after purchasing a subscription compatible with the RMI of interest, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for the RMI."

The Navigate Using Product Structure function requires the following steps:

  1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal (Refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis RMI”)
  2. Click the brand of the vehicle you want to access
  3. Click on the Service Information tab
  4. Click the Launch button next to Service Library
  5. In Service Library, select the vehicle either by entering the VIN, select a Brand/Model/Engine, or selecting a Model Year, Model, and Engine.
  6. Once a vehicle has been selected, a list of systems and subsystems will be displayed. Select an option to view available content
  7. Alternatively select an information type on the left and browse content via a Table of Contents

4.4 Select by Document Identifier

In this section you can search for the RMI concerning a specific document if you know the ID code (Document Release Number) and Part Number.

The Select by Document Identifier function requires the following steps:

  1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal (Refer to section 1.6 “Login to Stellantis RMI”)
  2. Select the required vehicle using steps outlined in the section 4.3.
  3. Once a vehicle has been selected, the document identification or part number can be searched at the top right corner of Service Library.
  4. Alternatively use “Service Bulletins/Recalls” in the ToC for Service Action documentation.

5. Retrieve Information Packages

In this section you can access the RMI found using one of the search methods defined in section 4. "Provide RMI Selection Methods for RMI," after paying for a subscription with the minimum duration of an hour, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for RMI."

5.1 Workshop Procedures

In this section you can access the Workshop Procedures (Service Information) found using one of the search methods defined in section 4. "Provide RMI Selection Methods for RMI," after paying for a Tech Authority subscription with the minimum duration of an hour, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for RMI."

According to standard ISO 18541, the repair procedures are divided into:

  1. General Workshop Procedures
  2. Body Repair Procedures
  3. Temporary Repair Procedures
  4. Preparation for PTI

5.1.1 General Workshop Procedures

In this section you can access the General Workshop Procedures (Service Information), after paying for a Tech Authority subscription for min. 1 hour.

The General Workshop Procedures (Service Information) function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section: 1. "User Authentication, Authorization, and Administration" and section: 2. "Payment for RMI."
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Service Information from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).

5.1.2 Body Repair Procedures

In this section you can access the Body Repair Procedures (Collision Info), after paying for a TechAuthority subscription for min. 1 hour.

The Body Repair Procedure (Collision Info) function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Collision Info from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).

5.1.3 Temporary Repair Procedures

Stellantis does not develop Temporary Repair Procedures, nor supplies them to its Authorized Dealerships.
As specified by standard ISO 18541, these repair procedures are therefore not available.

5.1.4 Preparation for PTI

The Preparation for PTI function requires the following steps:

  1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal
  2. Click the brand of the vehicle you want to access
  3. Click on the Service Information tab
  4. Click the Launch button next to Service Library
  5. In Service Library, select the vehicle either by entering the VIN, select a Brand/Model/Engine, or selecting a Model Year, Model, and Engine.
  6. Once a vehicle has been selected, the PTI documents can be found in Table of Content left in Service Library in section Reference

5.2 Wiring Diagrams

In this section you can access the Wiring Diagrams, after paying for a TechAuthority subscription for a minimum of 1 hour.

The Wiring Diagrams function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Wring from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).

5.3 Technical Service Bulletin

In this section you can access the Technical Service Bulletins, after paying for a subscription to TechAuthority for a minimum of 1 hour.

The Technical Service Bulletins function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Service Bulletins/Recalls from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).

5.4 Recall Information

In this section you can access the Recalls, after paying for a subscription to TechAuthority for a minimum of 1 hour.
In this section you can enter the VIN of a vehicle and receive information about any Recall Campaigns associated with the vehicle.

The Recall Information function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.

5.5 Maintenance Schedule

In this section you can access the Maintenance Schedule (Programs and Descriptions), after paying for a subscription to TechAuthority for a minimum of 1 hour.
Maintenance Schedules are also available in eLUM system. Follow the TI (Technical Information) registration process to access Maintenance data. The maintenance plans are in the Owner Handbooks, which can be downloaded in PDF format.

5.5.1 Programs and Descriptions

The Maintenance Schedule (Programs and descriptions) function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. The Maintenance Schedule is located in section “04 - Vehicle Quick Reference” within “Service Information” in the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen). Or in the section following this path: “Service Information”, “Manual- Panels and Frames”, “Manual - Panels and Frames”, “00 - Complete Vehicle”, “00GE - General”, “Technical Specifications”, “1.05 Scheduled Servicing Plan”.

5.5.2 Connection Between Scheduled Maintenance and Relevant Procedures

Maintenance Schedule (Connection Between Scheduled Maintenance and Relevant Procedures) is currently not available for any users.

5.6 Spare Parts

Spare Parts (Identification) and Spare Parts (Access) follow the standard TI (Technical Information) registration process (https://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com).

5.7 Accessories

In this section you can access information for the assembly and repair of Accessories, after paying for a subscription to Manuals for min. 1 hour.

5.7.1 Accessory information Factory Fitted (Included in General RMI)

Spare Parts (Identification) and Spare Parts (Access) follow the standard TI (Technical Information) registration process (https://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com).

5.7.2 Accessory Information Partnered with a Stellantis Part Number

Stellantis does not assign its own spare parts codes to accessories not installed in the factory, therefore there are no RMI in this category.

5.7.3 Fitting Information for Accessories with no Stellantis Part Number

Stellantis does not supply installation instructions for accessories in electronic format to its Authorised Dealerships.
As specified by standard ISO 18541, the information on these accessories is therefore not available.

5.8 Labor Times

In this section you can access the Labor Times, after having paid for a TechAuthority Subscription for min. 1 hour.
Follow the steps in section 2.1.2 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, SRT
Register in IOP prior accessing the information in IOP. Follow the process: 1.User Authentication, Authorisation, and Administration

The Labor Times requires the following steps:

  1. Login to the Stellantis Independent Operator Portal
  2. Click the brand of the vehicle you want to access
  3. For all brands and products in Enlarged Europe follow:
    • Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Jeep, Lancia: Technical Information
    • Citroen, DS, Opel, Peugeot: Service Box

5.9 Converted Vehicles

Stellantis does not supply information on aftermarket converted vehicles to its Authorised Dealerships.
As specified by standard ISO 18541, this information is therefore not available.

5.10 Special Tools

In this section you can access the catalogs for Special Tools.

The Special Tools function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Click on Tools and equipment (in the Services menu to the top right) on the main screen.

6. Vehicle Diagnostics

In this section you can access the Vehicle Diagnostic, after paying for a TechAuthority subscription for a minimum of 1 hour.

6.1 DTC Resolution

In this section you can access the DTC Resolution, after paying for a TechAuthority subscription for min. 1 hour.

The Vehicle Diagnostic function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Service Information from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).
  4. Select “DTC-Based Diagnostics”

6.2 Stellantis System Resolution

In this section you can access the Symptom Resolution, after paying for a subscription to TechAuthority for min. 1 hour.

The Vehicle Diagnostic function requires the following steps:

  1. For registration follow the instructions in section 1. and 2.
  2. For accessing Service Library reference section: 4.1 "Select Information Type."
  3. Select Service Information from the Table of Contents at the ToC (left side of the screen).
  4. Select “Non-DTC Diagnostics”

6.3 Integrated Diagnostics

Standard ISO 18541 requires this function only for the use of third-party HW with access to Stellantis RMI for the resolution of DTC in integrated mode.
Stellantis actually offers three options:

  1. Use of Stellantis HW and SW for integrated diagnostics
  2. Use of Stellantis SW and PassThru SAE J2534 HW for integrated diagnostics
  3. Only for connected vehicles, in compliance with the requirements of regulation UNECE-115, write access to the so-called Authenticated Diagnostics (ADA) with compatible third-party tools
The sections below can be accessed through the Fiat Technical Information Portal at: https://www.technicalinformation.fiat.com/

6.3.1 With Stellantis HW and SW

The diagnostic services with official Stellantis HW and SW are managed on a separate portal, accessible with Single SignOn, that is without the need for additional registration and login.
The system is called wiTECH IAM (wiTECH Independent Aftermarket).

The "Integrated Diagnostics" function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the Stellantis HW: MicroPODII or Mopar Diagnostic Pod.
  2. Purchase the subscription to the diagnostic services, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  3. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  4. Update the HW.
  5. If necessary also assign the HW to other employees of the same IO.
  6. For access to the integrated functions of bidirectional diagnostics, purchase a subscription to TechAuthority for at least 1 hour.
6.3.1.1 HW Registration

Stellantis HW Registration requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Click on the Diagnosis Tool (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  8. Click on the wiTECH 2.0 icon that appears to the top right of the window.
  9. After the new page has loaded click on Register Now.
  10. Select the brands for which you want to register the HW, taking into consideration the limitations indicated for the Integrated diagnostics function.
  11. Select the type of HW, from between MicroPODII (which has a serial number such as WSP-12345 or WFP-12345) and Mopar Diagnostic Pod (which has a serial number such as MDP-123456).
  12. Enter the HW serial number. Only MicroPODII are allowed with a serial number higher than WFP-12000 or WSP-31560, whereas there are no limitations for the Mopar Diagnostic Pod.
  13. Click on Request Approval.
  14. Approval is a manual process that requires checks of HW authenticity: you will receive an email for the confirmation/refusal of the registration based on the result of the check.

6.3.1.2 Subscription Assignment

The Subscription Assignment requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one Stellantis HW.
  4. Purchase at least one subscription that lasts 3 days, which activates automatically, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  5. Assign the subscription to the HW.

6.3.1.3 HW Update

The Stellantis HW Update requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one Stellantis HW (via Mopar Technical Service Portal, click on Mopar Mopar logo)
  4. Purchase at least one subscription that lasts 3 days, which activates automatically, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  5. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  6. Assign the user email address to the HW.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email from the OKTA (One Key Time Access) system to create an OKTA account, which will ask you to install either the OKTA Verify or Google Authenticator app: these apps generate one-time tokens to access Integrated diagnostics and are used to guarantee the authenticity of the connection, in line with what is required by regulation UNECE-115.
  8. Chose a password for the OKTA account.
  9. Once the OKTA registration is complete, click on Launch wiTECH 2.0 in the “Support” tab.
  10. The registration page that appears should already contain your e-mail address in the Username field. If not use the same e-mail address used to register in the Stellantis RMI System.
  11. Click on Access.
  12. In the tab click “Support” go to “Download the Setup Utility”.
  13. Execute the Setup Utility after the download, following the instructions that are provided.

6.3.1.4 Assignment of HW to Other Employees

The Stellantis HW can only have one user as the owner.
The owner is the only person who can purchase the subscriptions to Integrated diagnostics, but they can share the use of the HW with other users belonging to the same IO (Company).

The Assignment of Stellantis HW to other employees of the same Company requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one Stellantis HW.
  4. Purchase at least one subscription that lasts 3 days, which activates automatically, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  5. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  6. Click on Manage users.
  7. Enter the e-mail address of the Company employee with which you want to share use of the Stellantis HW.
  8. Follow the instructions in section 6.3.1.3.7-13

6.3.1.5 Access to Bidirectional Diagnostics

Bidirectional diagnostics is needed if there are some diagnostic events:

  1. Availability of RMI for DTC Resolution.
  2. Availability of Technical Service Bulletins.
  3. Need to update, replace or modify the control modules.
  4. Need to perform write operations in the control modules of connected vehicles equipped with a Secure GateWay (SGW).

Access to bidirectional diagnostics requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 6.3.1.3.1-13
  2. Purchase a subscription to TechAuthority for at least 1 hour, as described in section 2.1.2. "Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT."

6.3.2 With Stellantis SW and PassThru SAE J2534 HW

The diagnostic services with official Stellantis SW (installed locally) and PassThru SAE J2534 HW require an additional registration and login.
The system is called wiTECH J2534.

The Integrated Diagnostics function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the PassThru HW (follow steps 6.3.1.1).
  2. Purchase the subscription to the diagnostic services, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  3. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  4. Perform OKTA registration.
  5. If necessary also assign the HW to other employees of the same IO.
  6. For access to the integrated functions of bidirectional diagnostics, purchase a subscription to TechAuthority for at least 1 hour.

6.3.2.1 HW Registration

PassThru SAE J2534 HW Registration requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one Stellantis HW (via Mopar Technical Service Portal, click on Mopar Mopar logo).
  4. After the new page has loaded click on “Support” tab download the J2534 application.
  5. Click on “Dashboard” to register the J2534 devise. Follow the online instructions to obtain the Serial Number in artical: https://kb-re.am.fcawitech.com/article/registering-a-j2534-device-in-account-manager-16.html

6.3.2.2 Subscription Assignment

The Subscription Assignment requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one PassThru SAE J2534 HW.
  4. Purchase at least one subscription that lasts 3 days, which activates automatically, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  5. Assign the subscription to the HW following the steps on 6.3.2.1.

6.3.2.3 OKTA Registration

OKTA Registration requires the following steps:

  1. Follow the steps 1.1 and 1.2 for registration and access to TI (Technical Information)
  2. In TI (Technical Information) Click on Diagnosis tools (in the Documentation menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Register at least one PassThru SAE J2534 HW or Stellantis HW.
  4. Purchase at least one subscription that lasts 3 days, which activates automatically, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  5. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  6. Assign the user email address to the HW.
  7. For OKTA registration alternatively follow https://kb-re.am.fcawitech.com/article/how-to-create-an-okta-login-account-4.html or steps 9.
  8.   6. Click on Manage users.
  7. Enter the e-mail address of the Company employee with which you want to share use of the PassThru SAE J2534 HW.

6.3.2.5 Access to Bidirectional Diagnostics

Follow the steps in 6.3.1.5 Access to Bidirectional Diagnostics

6.3.3 ADA for Connected Vehicles with Third-Party Instruments

In connected vehicles, with voluntary and advanced compliance with regulation UNECE-115, the Connected Vehicles have an electronic module called Secure GateWay (SGW), which prevents write access in the vehicle.
The unlock of the writing function is only possible using third-party tools that have implemented the Authenticated Diagnostics Access (ADA) function, which are listed in the related News.

The Integrated diagnostics function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Make sure to have one of the diagnostic tools included in the list provided in the News Authenticated diagnostics (dated 14/10/2019). Otherwise it is not possible to unlock the SGW.
  8. Purchase a subscription to Integrated diagnostics for connected vehicles with third-party instruments that lasts at least 1 hour, as described in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  9. Click on Welcome (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  10. Click on Your subscriptions. This function could be inhibited to an IO employee, based on the authorisations provided by their Legal Representative.
  11. Select a subscription compatible with the requirements (possibly the only just purchased), with the state To be configured, To be activated or Active, by clicking the arrow in the coloured button.
  12. Click the Generic Diagnostic Tool logo to the bottom right.
  13. Return to the diagnostics session.
  14. When prompted, enter your credentials for the Stellantis RMI system.

7. Updating, replacing, and Tuning of Modules (ECUs)

In this section, you can access the functions for the update, replacement and tuning of the vehicle electronic control modules (ECU) using the Stellantis SW and PassThru SAE J2534 HW.

7.1 Updating and Replacing Modules

The module update and replacement services with official Stellantis SW (installed locally) and PassThru SAE J2534 HW require an additional registration and login.
The system is called wiTECH J2534 and also manages all the integrated diagnostic services, as described in section 6.3. "Integrated Diagnostics."

The "Updating and Replacing Modules" function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the PassThru HW.
  2. Purchase the subscription to the diagnostic services, according to what is indicated in section 2. "Payment for RMI."
  3. Assign the subscription to the HW.
  4. Perform OKTA registration.
  5. If necessary also assign the HW to other employees of the same IO.
  6. For access to the download of update packages and for functions of bidirectional diagnostics, purchase a subscription to TechAuthority for at least 1 hour.

7.1.1 HW Registration

PassThru SAE J2534 HW registration requires the following steps outlined in 6.3.2.1 "HW Registration."

7.1.2 Subscription Assignment

The Subscription assignment requires the following steps outlined in 6.3.1.2 "Subscription Assignment."

7.1.3 OKTA Registration

OKTA Registration requires the following steps outlined in 6.3.2.3.

7.1.4 Assignment of HW to Other Employees

The PassThru SAE J2534 HW can only have one user as the owner.
The owner is the only person who can purchase the subscriptions to Integrated diagnostics, but they can share the use of the HW with other users belonging to the same IO (Company).

The Assignment of PassThru SAE J2534 HW to other employees of the same Company requires the following steps as outlined in 6.3.2.4.

7.1.5 Access to Bidirectional Diagnostics

Bidirectional diagnostics is needed if there are some diagnostic events. For description and details follow 6.3.2.5.

7.2 Tuning Kit

Stellantis currently does not supply an ECU tuning software to its Authorised Dealerships.
As specified by standard ISO 18541, this activity type is therefore not available.

8. Electronic Maintenance History

Stellantis manages the service history of its vehicles with paper documentation onboard the vehicle.
As specified by standard ISO 18541, this activity type is therefore not available.

9. Repair Assistance Technical Support

As required by standard ISO 18541, in this section, users with the repairer type of activity can request technical support from Stellantis for the repair of a vehicle at conditions normally provided by Stellantis, as listed here:

  1. The vehicle to be repaired must be less than 10 years old.
  2. The user must have an active subscription to Manuals that lasts at least 1 hour, for the vehicle brand for which support is required.
  3. The user must access a diagnostics solution integrated with Stellantis SW, among those listed in section 6.3. "Integrated diagnostics."
  4. The user must be a level 1 Technical Expert, qualified or being qualified, according to the Stellantis training programme, or demonstrate to have an equivalent qualification.
  5. The user must have performed the diagnostic process with Stellantis SW and possibly with the support of bidirectional diagnostics and not have been able to identify the correct repair solution.

The "Technical Support for Repair Assistance" function requires the following steps:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Register the IO employee if necessary.
  3. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  4. Click on Access.
  5. Enter the username and the password.
  6. Click on ACCESS.
  7. Perform the diagnostic process according to what is indicated in section 6.3. "Integrated diagnostics", without being able to identify a repair solution.
  8. Click on Technical Help Desk (in the Services menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  9. Click on Proceed by filling in the form.
  10. Fill in the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE REQUEST form, attaching diagnostic screens and other material if possible that helps Stellantis technicians identify the problem.
  11. Click on send information.
  12. Wait to be contacted by Stellantis technical personnel.

10. Request Contact for Specific RMI

In this section you can:

  • Identify the area of the portal where information about some specific RMI is available.
  • Access the contact area of the portal to send a request for information about specific RMI for which information is not available directly on the portal.

To ask the questions to the most suitable staff some request types are limited to specific activities based on the RMI of interest: this reduces the waiting time for the answers, as no time is wasted checking if the request is correct or not.

10.1 Electronic Tool Information (Diagnostic, Reprogramming, VCI)

In this section you can get information on the electronic equipment used by Stellantis and available to repairers.
There are different methods depending on the type of information of interest:

  • Information provided directly on the portal
  • Need to access the contact area

10.1.1 Official Stellantis SW

There are three diagnostic solutions with official Stellantis SW:

  • 10.1.1.1 wiTECH IAM: 6.3.1 With Stellantis HW and SW
  • 10.1.1.2 wiTECH J2534: 6.3.2 With Stellantis SW and PassThru SAE J2534 HW
  • 10.1.1.3 ADA: 6.3.3 ADA for Connected Vehicles with Third-Party Instruments
10.1.1.1 wiTECH IAM

This solution uses the official SW for the Stellantis integrated diagnostics, called wiTECH 2, in combination with the official Stellantis VCI, called MOPAR Diagnostic Pod.
The use of the wiTECH IAM solution does not require the installation of any SW, but just of its VCI drivers.

To find information on wiTECH IAM, refer to section 6.3. "Integrated Diagnostics" (with Stellantis HW and SW).

10.1.1.2 wiTECH J2534

This solution uses the official SW for the Stellantis integrated diagnostics, called wiTECH 2, in combination with a PassThru SAE J2534 VCI.
The use of the wiTECH J2534 solution requires the download of a SW free of charge.

To find information on wiTECH J2534, refer to section 6.3. "Integrated Diagnostics" (with Stellantis SW and HW PassThru SAE J2534 – HW registration).

10.1.1.3 ADA

In connected vehicles, with voluntary and advanced compliance with regulation UNECE-115, the Connected Vehicles have an electronic module called Secure GateWay (SGW), which prevents write access in the vehicle.

10.2 Test Equipment and Diagnostic Tool Manufacturers

In this section, you can start commercial negotiations to receive RMI suitable for the manufacturer of diagnostic equipment and test equipment for Stellantis vehicles and available for the corresponding manufacturer profiles.

To access the information for Test Equipment and Diagnostic Tool Manufacturers, the following steps are required:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Click on Access.
  4. Enter the username and the password.
  5. Click on ACCESS.
  6. Click on Contact area (in the Support menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  7. Click on Click here to send the message.
  8. Select the item Info for manufacturing test equipment or Information for manufacturing diagnostic tools in the drop-down menu to the side of To.
  9. Complete the message as required.

10.3 Training Material (Delegate Information)

In this section, you can start commercial negotiations to receive RMI suitable for the preparation of courses on Stellantis vehicles and available for Trainers.

To access Training Material (Delegate Information), the following steps are required:

10.6 Inspection and Testing Services (PTI)

Following EU regulation 2019/621, the requirements for the supply of information for the Inspection and Testing Services have changed: it is necessary to provide the specified information and/or indicate where it can be found.
The access to the actual RMI requires the use of other functions listed here, as described in the document to be downloaded.

Access to information for the Inspection and Testing Services requires the following steps:

  1. Click on Information for inspections (in the Information menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  2. Click on Available data to the side of the model of interest.
  3. The downloaded PDF document contains some RMI and the information for accessing other RMI (free of charge or after purchasing a subscription for minimum one hour, in compliance with European regulations). A set of data is available only for certain types of users.

10.7 Alternative Fuels Retrofit Systems

Stellantis develops versions with alternative fuel only for some models. CDJR brands do not offer alternative fuels retrofits.

As specified by standard ISO 18541, this contact type is therefore not available.

10.8 Engine and Components Remanufacturing

Stellantis does not support re-manufacturing.

10.9 Information for Component and Parts Manufacturers

In this section you can start commercial negotiations to purchase Stellantis original material to create equivalent spare parts with impact on emissions, available for the corresponding Manufacturer profiles.

To access the information for the Component and Parts Manufacturers, the following steps are required:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Click on Access.
  4. Enter the username and the password.
  5. Click on ACCESS.
  6. Click on Contact area (in the Support menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  7. Click on Click here to send the message.
  8. Select Information for manufacturing components in the drop-down menu to the side of To.
  9. Complete the message as required.
  10. Click on send message.

10.10 Validation of Independently Developed Non-proprietary VCIs

In this section, it is possible to start commercial negotiations to receive information suitable for the manufacturer and validation of SAE J2534 VCIs which permit the performance of the Use Cases specified in sections 6.3. and 7.1.

To access information for the Validation of Independently Developed Non-Proprietary VCIs, the following steps are necessary:

  1. Register the IO.

11. Courses and Training Information

In this section you can access the online training or sign up for traditional Stellantis classroom courses.
The training courses are managed through a portal outside of the Stellantis RMI system, therefore it is necessary to request specific access of the username associated with the user, in the contact area.

To access Courses and Training Information the following steps are required:

  1. Register the IO.
  2. Click on Enter your info (on the red side bar to the top right) on the main screen.
  3. Click on Access.
  4. Enter the username and the password.
  5. Click on ACCESS.
  6. Click on Contact area (in the Support menu to the top right) on the main screen.
  7. Click on Click here to send the message.
  8. Select Training in the drop-down menu to the side of To.
  9. Complete the message as required.
  10. Click on send message.
  11. Once the new username and password have been received to access the training portal, click on Training courses (in the Services menu to the top right).
  12. Use the help on the WEB ACADEMY portal if necessary.

12. Download Area

In this section you can find all the SW applications needed for a correct use of the Stellantis RMI system.

  • Independent Operator Portal: No downloads are required.
  • Service Library: No downloads are required.
  • Mopar Keycode: No downloads are required.
  • wiTECH: The following downloads may be required:

Access to the Download Area function requires the following steps:
